Afraid you’ll ruin the fun or lose a friend if you try to stop them from drinking and driving? You may lose them if you don’t stop them.
The Police have new equipment like videocams and are running checkpoints as well as more patrols—all to catch drunk drivers. But the only thing better than catching them is stopping them before they get behind the wheel. That’s where you come in.
Use your head. Don’t drive when you have been drinking, and don’t ever get into a car with a driver who has been drinking. And a little planning might just save your butt… because the more you drink, the less likely you are to make intelligent choices.
